Frequently Asked Questions
Why is home staging important?
Home staging is important because it can help homes sell more quickly and for a higher price. By creating an inviting and appealing atmosphere, potential buyers will be able to envision themselves living in the space and will be more likely to make an offer.

How long does home staging take?
The timeline for home staging can vary depending on the size of the home and the extent of the staging required. However, on average, home staging can take anywhere from a few days to a couple weeks, from the initial consultation to execution.

Do I need to vacate my home during the staging process?
This typically depends on the extent of the stage, however we appreciate leaving your home is not always a realistic option. You do not need to vacate your home during the staging process but you will need to be flexible with scheduling to accommodate the staging team.

Will the staging team provide the furnishings and decor?
Every stage is different, and demands different elements. The staging team will be responsible for providing all of the agreed upon furnishings and decor needed to stage your home.

Do I need to do any preparation before the staging team arrives?
Yes, you will need to prepare your home by decluttering and cleaning before the staging team arrives. The staging team will provide guidance on what needs to be done. Sometimes this might also include moving current furniture out of the home.

Will home staging guarantee a sale?
Home staging does not guarantee a sale. However, it can significantly increase the likelihood of a successful and profitable home sale.

How far in advance should I contact a home staging company?
It's best to contact a home staging company as soon as you know you're planning to sell your home. This will give the staging team plenty of time to plan and prepare for the staging process. Ideally a minimum of 5 business days is required, and a 50% deposit.

What's the difference between a vacant and occupied home stage?
Most often, a vacant home stage requires us to bring in all furniture and decor as the current owners are not living there. When the home is occupied, meaning the owners are living there throughout the stage and showings of the home, more often than not, majority of the larger furniture belongs to the owners. We will re-arrange rooms if need be and bring in accents pieces and decor only.
